apparently, this far into the game o18 is overwhelmingly big, enough so that this move by blk loses 10.5 pts.

this big move remains unplayed for such a long time ai gets rather upset with both players.

so apparently this is how you handle this, giving black sente to approach top left seems op for blk but white can approach bottom right securing right side?

this move feels like an overextension but ai says its not bad. technically the reason i dont see this more is bc r3 is better.
